The "Weingut und Sektgut Heiko Bamberger" is located in the municipality of Meddersheim in the German wine-growing region of Nahe. Winegrowing has been practised for several generations. Since 2014, it has been run by Heiko Bamberger and his wife Ute. In 2015, the newly built vinotheque was put into operation, offering space for tastings and events. A view of the riddling desks is possible from here. This also emphasises the importance of sparkling wine production as an essential segment of the farm.
The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard sites Altenberg and Rheingrafenberg (Meddersheim), Frühlingsplätzchen (Monzingen), and Marbach (Sobernheim). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling (the main variety with 60% of the stock), Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer and Müller-Thurgau, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Frühburgunder and Dornfelder. Sustainable viticulture is practised according to Fair'n Green rules, which have been certified since the 2017 vintage.
