The white grape variety (also Baco 9-11) is an interspecific new variety between Couderc 4401 (Oiseau Rouge) x Baco 22A (Baco Blanc). It contains genes from Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in France by the breeder François Baco (1865-1947). In 2016 no stocks were reported (Kym Anderson).
