The winery with a 400-year-old winegrower's house is located in the municipality of Spielfeld-Grassnitzberg on the South Styrian Wine Route in the South Styrian wine growing region (Austria). Some guest rooms are offered for rent. Since 1998 the business has been run by the brothers Christian (cellar master) and Thomas (vineyards, sales) Polz. The vineyards cover 16 hectares of vineyards in the areas of Grassnitzberg and Zieregg, as well as in Slovenia just 400m away as the crow flies. They are planted with the white wine varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Weißburgunder(Pinot Blanc), Chardonnay(Morillon), Welschriesling and Traminer. Natural viticulture with gentle soil cultivation is practised.
