The white grape variety originates from France. Synonyms are Bridal, Canon Hall, Ciminnisa, Ciminnita, Cipro Bianco, Fehér Kecskecsecsü, Galetta, Galetta Bianca, Golden Hill, Olivet Belyi, Olivette de Montpellier, Olivette de Vendemian, Ragnon de Poull, Rognon de Poull and Servan Olivet. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2018, it originates from a presumably natural cross between Achladi x unknown variety. Nothing is known about a possible connection to the red variety Olivette Noire. It was a crossing partner in the new variety Ribol. The vine is suitable for wine presses and table grape. It is cultivated in small quantities in the département of Vaucluse. In 2016, two hectares of vines were designated (Kym Anderson).
