Nimrang Magaracha

The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Angur Kalan x Pierrelle. Synonyms are Magarach 49-75-65, Nimrang Ustoichivyi Magaracha and VIV-12. It contains genes from Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera.The hybrid was crossed in 1988 at the Magarach Viticultural Institute in Crimea, Ukraine. It is mainly used as table grape. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
