Muscat Rouge

The white grape variety originates from Greece. Synonyms are Muscat Rouge à Petits Grains, Muscat à Petits Grains Rouges, Muscat Gris and Uva Turca Rubra. It is a somatic mutation with reddish berries of the white grape variety Muscat Blanc (see the cultivation quantities there). It must not be confused with the Muscat Rouge de Madère variety.
