single vineyard in the municipality of Bacharach in the German Mittelrhein wine-growing region. The southeast-facing vineyard lies at an altitude of 120 to 220 metres above sea level with a slope of 50% to 60% and covers almost 5 hectares of vines on weathered Devonian slate soil. The Riesling and Pinot Noir varieties are cultivated here. The Dr Kauer and Ratzenberger wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
