The winery is located in the municipality of Geisenheim in the German wine-growing region of Rheingau. The traditional winery has been run since 1984 by Dipl. Ing. Alexander and his wife Dipl. Önol. Karin Seip-Freimuth. A wine tavern is attached. The vineyards cover eight hectares in the Kilzberg, Kläuserweg, Mäuerchen and Mönchspfad sites (Geisenheim), as well as Bischofsberg, Kirchenpfad and Magdalenenkreuz (Rüdesheim). They are mainly planted with the varieties Riesling( 65%) and Pinot Noir (25%), the rest with Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Bl anc. All wines are estate bottlings, as only the estate's own wines are grown and vinified. The wines are fermented at a cool temperature and are mostly dry. Brandy and bottle-fermented sparkling wine are also produced. The winery has been a member of the VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates) since 1999.
