The winery is located in the municipality of Montpeyroux in the Département of Hérault in the French wine-growing region of Languedoc. It was founded in 1987 by the two winegrowers Aimé Commeyras and Claude Villar and the Professor of Oenology in Montpellier, Dr. Pierre-Louis Teissedre. The vineyards cover almost 20 hectares. The red wine varieties Syrah (about half), Grenache Noir(Garnacha Tinta), Mourvèdre(Monastrell) and Cabernet Sauvignon are cultivated on 18 hectares, and the white wine varieties Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc on 1.5 hectares. The product range includes AOC wines Languedoc and Montpeyroux as well as IGP wines.
