The white grape variety comes from Armenia. Synonyms are Barbaroui, Coudsi, Dabouk, Dabouqui, Dabuki, Dabuqi, Khalili, Koudsi, Malaga (see there), Malaga Bianca, Malaga Blanc, Malaga Blanc Perfection, Sabalkanskoi, Salti, Salti Khdari and Zraiki. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. Whether there is a genetic relationship to the French variety Malaga Blanc is not known. The variety was a crossing partner in the new breeding of Danlas. It is used as a wine grape and table grape. In 2016 no stock was reported (statistics Kym Anderson).
