The white grape variety is a new variety between Chasselas x Schiava Grossa. Synonyms are Chasselas Corneille and Cornelle. The cross was made by the breeder Jean-Pierre Vibert in France. It is used as a wine grape and table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
