Concieira

This red grape variety comes from Portugal. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2020, it is a presumably natural cross between Alfrocheiro x Ramisco. However, this is based on only 21 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). The variety is grown in the Beira Interior, Trás-os-Montes and Douro areas. In 2016, a total of 53 hectares of vineyards were designated (Kym Anderson statistics).
