The vineyard is located in the Saint-Émilion area (Bordeaux). It belonged to the Moueix family empire from 1969 to 2004. After the death of Armand Moueix, Nathalie and Marie-José Moueix made extensive changes. Among other things, the proportion of Merlot was greatly increased and Cabernet Sauvignon was eliminated. In 2004, the estate was sold to Adams French Vineyards. It is classified as a Grand Cru Classé, which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover 18 hectares and are planted with Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). The long-lasting red wine matures for 24 months in new barriques. The second wine is called "Clos Goudichaud".

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
