Cercle Ruster Ausbruch

Winegrowers' association founded in 1992 in the municipality of Rust in the Austrian province of Burgenland. The ten member companies are Conrad, Feiler-Artinger, Giefing Erich, Schandl Peter, Schröck Heidi, Seiler Georg, Tremmel Harald, Triebaumer Ernst, Triebaumer Günter and Wenzel Robert. The chairman as successor of Heidi Schröck is Michael Wenzel since 2002. In December 2005, a "Charter Cercle Ruster Ausbruch" was defined with corresponding production conditions, in which the member companies commit themselves to continue the centuries-old tradition of the Ruster Ausbruch, which has been protected of origin since 2016, to the best of their knowledge and belief. The aim is to maintain and further enhance the worldwide reputation of this unique, noble sweet wine of origin.
