Regional appellation in Burgundy (France) for red, rosé and white wines. The vineyards cover over 800 hectares of vineyards in 22 communes in the south of the Côte d'Or department and seven communes in the Saône-et-Loire department. The red and rosé wines are made from Pinot Noir, white wines mainly from Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. See also under Bourgogne and Burgundy Classification.
