Its main task is public relations work on the topic of organic food production and the promotion of the image of organic food in society. BÖLW is also active in the monitoring committee of the Federal Organic Farming Programme and is a shareholder in ÖPZ GmbH, which administers the German organic label. Membership exists in IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements), where the group of German-speaking IFOAM members is coordinated. Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
