It is possible that these two white grape varieties from South America are identical:
The white grape variety (also Blanca) originates from Argentina. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2017, it comes from a cross between Listán Prieto x Muscat d'Alexandrie. It is used as a wine grape. No stocks were reported under this name in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
The name means "white ovoid" and probably refers to the olive-shaped berry. There is no entry in the VIVC catalogue. However, a variety of this name is grown in the Maule area (Valle Central) in Chile. In 2016, 44 hectares of vines were reported (Kym Anderson statistics).
