Bitter Soda

Name for an aromatised wine-based drink which, according to EU regulations, contains at least 50% bitter vino, has an alcohol content of at least 8 and less than 10.5% vol. and contains carbon dioxide. According to EU wine law, it is a wine-based drink. See also under special wines and mixed wine drinks.
