The red grape variety is a new breeding from (Ryzlink x Svatovavrinecke) x Zweigeltrebe =(Riesling x St. Laurent) x Zweigelt. The crossing was made in the South Moravian breeding station Perná by two breeders Ing. F. Zatloukal and Ing. L. Michlovský. The plant variety protection was granted in 2001. The vine is resistant to frost, but susceptible to botrytis. It produces full-bodied red wines with soft tannins and red fruit aroma. The variety was cultivated on 3 hectares in the Czech Republic in 2010.
