The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Zhuravel VII-25-3 x Kishmish Moldavskii. It contains genes from Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1971 in Moldova by the breeder Gheorge Savin. Plant variety protection was granted in 2003. It is mainly used as table grape and for sultanas. In 2016, 0.5 hectares of vineyards were designated in Moldova (Kym Anderson).
