The white grape variety is a new breed between Katta Kurgan x Kishmish Rozovyi (possibly Sultana descendant). The crossing was made in Armenia in 1958 by R. A. Ergesyan. The vine is used as a wine press and table grape. No stock was reported in 2010 (Kym Anderson).
