The white grape variety is a new breed between Katta Kurgan x Kishmish Rozovyi (mutation of Sultana). The crossbreeding was made in Armenia in 1958 by the breeder R. A. Ergesyan. The vine is used as a wine press and table grape. No stocks were reported in 2010 (statistics Kym Anderson).
