The white grape variety (also Jaune de Sinkava) originates from the Czech Republic. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, it originated from a presumably natural cross between Blanc Blanc (Vulpea) x Heunisch (Gouais Blanc). However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see Molecular genetics). No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
