Santa Ines

The winery is located in Isla de Maipo (Talagante province) in the Valle Central in Chile. It was bought in 1959 by Don Pietro De Martino. The family, who had immigrated from Italy, had been growing wine on a now integrated neighbouring estate since the 1930s. Today it is managed by the third and fourth generation of the family. The vineyards in the Maipo area cover 300 hectares in the El Arenal, Lonquén and Las Piedras vineyards. The red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Carmenère, Malbec(Cot), Petite Syrah(Durif) and Carignan Noir, as well as the white wine varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay are cultivated. Since 2001, the vineyards have been cultivated according to the rules of organic viticulture certified by BCS Öko-Garantie. The wines are produced in the lines "E" (for enigmatic = mysterious), "Reserva" and "State".
