The winery is located in the municipality of Falkenstein in the north-east of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. The family has been resident here since 1709. Heinrich Salomon was one of the first winegrowers on the Brünner Strasse to work with strict yield restriction as early as the late 1970s. Natural viticulture is practised with cover crop, short pruning and consistent thinning. The vineyards with six hectares of vineyards are located in the Ackerweingarten, Eckartsberg, Kirchberg, Pfarrweingarten, Rabenstein, Rosenberg, Setzgarten and Sonnleiten vineyards. Only the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Grüner Sylvaner, Chardonnay, Welschriesling, Riesling, Neuburger and Muskat-Ottonel are cultivated. Great attention is paid to typicality in terms of vineyards, vintages and varieties. The premium wines include, for example, Riesling Sonnleiten, Weinviertel DAC Sonnleiten Grüner Veltliner and Grüner Sylvaner Pfarrweingarten. The winery is a member of the Winegrowers' Association Premium Wine Estates Weinviertel and of the brand association Falkensteiner Berggericht.
