Pinorico

The red grape variety is a new cross between Kerner (white) x Pinot Noir (red). The cross was made in Switzerland by the private breeder Heiner Hertli. The vine is cultivated in small quantities in the canton of Zurich. In 2016, 0.3 hectares of vineyard area were reported (Kym Anderson statistics).
