The red grape variety originates from Greece from the island of Corfu. Synonyms are Corithe de Corfu, Corithi Lefko, Petrocoritho, Petrokoritho and Pietro Corinto. It is a white-berry mutation of the red variety Petrokoritho Mavro. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
