Kármin

The red grape variety (also Miklostelep 22) is a new variety between Petit Bouschet x Kadarka. It was crossed in Hungary in 1951 by András Kurucz and István Kwaysser. It is mainly cultivated in the Eger and Kunság areas. In 2016, 24 hectares of vineyard area were declared (statistics Kym Anderson).
