Gollin

Riede (also Golin) in the Austrian wine-growing region Wien in the 19th district of Döbling in the cadastral municipality of Nußdorf. It belongs to the Großlage Nußberg. The vineyard was classified by the WV WienWein as 1 ÖTW (Erste Lage of the Traditional Wine Estates of Austria). The southeast-facing vineyard with a slope of 5 to 17 degrees at 222 to 276 metres above sea level covers 5 hectares of vineyards. The limestone-rich soils consist of sandstone as subsoil and marine sediments on the surface, which have weathered into calcareous sands. Among others, Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Blanc are cultivated. The Fuhrgassl-Huber and Hajszan-Neumann wineries, for example, have shares in the vineyard.
