The winery is located in Neustift am Walde (part of the 19th district of Döbling) in the north-west of the Austrian capital Wien. The first part of the name is derived from the Fuhrgassl (a small alley) next to the house. Attached is a Heuriger, which is one of the best known in Wien. The business is run by Ernst and Gerti Huber. There is even a Viennese song about this Heuriger, the first verse of the lyrics: At the Fuhrgassl Huber in Neustift am Wald, there the Drahrers meet, young and old. His wine is so delicious and tastes so good, you can't say "no" to such good wine. (na = no, tulli = great or grand, Drahrer = reveler). The foundation walls of the house date back to 1683 - the year of the Second Siege of Vienna by the Turks. The first owner mentioned in the chronicle before 1733 was a certain Legoux, then in 1781 the property passed to the ancestors of the present owners.
