The white grape variety (also known as Fresno 18-94) is an extremely complex new variety. The varieties Calmeria, Cardinal, Molinera, Muscat d'Alexandrie, Tifafihi Ahmer and Thompson Seedless (Sultana) were involved. The cross was made in 1973 in the USA by grower John H. Weinberger. The variety is mainly used as table grape In 2016, a population of 230 hectares was reported in Mexico (Kym Anderson statistics).
