The winery is located in the municipality of Pont-de-l'Isère in the French wine-growing region of Rhône. Its origins date back to 1936, when Camille Combier bought an estate with three hectares of vines and four hectares of apricot trees and also started farming. Maurice Combier converted the farm to organic farming as early as 1969, which was still very rare and a pioneering achievement at the time. Today, the farm is run by grandson Laurent Combier and his son David. The vineyards cover 25 hectares and are planted with Syrah, Marsanne and Roussanne. The vineyards are cultivated according to the certified rules of biodynamic viticulture, respecting the phases of the moon.
