Domaine Chandon

The winery is located in the town of Yountville in California's Napa Valley. It was founded in 1973 by John Wright, who was the first sparkling wine producer in this area. It belongs to the French champagne house Moët et Chandon. A restaurant was also opened at the same time, which was renamed "Etoile" in 2006 and then ceased operations in 2014. The vineyards are located in several AVA areas, including Los Carneros, Mount Veeder and Yountville. The product range includes sparkling wines (Brut Classic, Blanc de noirs and Sweet Star) and still wines made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Cabernet Sauvignon. The brand was used in 2016 at the award ceremonies of the Formula 1 races.
