The French wine author and wine critic Thierry Desseauve was trained as a journalist. He was publisher and editor-in-chief of the wine magazine "La Revue du Vin de France" from 1989 to 2005. Together with his colleague Michel Bettane, he was responsible for the wine guide "Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France" of this publishing house until 2004. Since 2008, they have been publishing their own wine guide called "Le Grand Guide des Vins". They also jointly wrote the book "The World's Greatest Wines". For "Le livre du vin", Desseauve received the "Edmond de Rothschild Prize" as best book on wine. See also other authors under Literature.
