Delight

The white grape variety (Engl. delight, joy, pleasure) is a new cross between Queen of the Vineyards x Sultanina (Sultana) according to DNA analyses published in 2010. Synonyms are California 1220F21, De Light and Dilajt. The cross was made in 1936 at the Agricultural Experiment Station of the University of California by Dr Harold P. Olmo (1909-2006). The vine is used as table grape and cultivated worldwide. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
