General description (French for exquisite, fine, flavoursome) for the aroma and taste of a wine in the context of a wine description or wine evaluation. The rather imprecise term is to be interpreted in the context of the description. As a rule, it refers to a light, low-alcohol wine that is characterised by balance and complexity. Related terms are balanced, elegant, fine and slender.
