Description (French for exquisite, fine, flavoursome) for the aroma and taste of a wine in the context of a wine review or wine evaluation. The term is deliberately context-dependent and does not describe a single flavour, but rather an overall fine, restrained and balanced impression. As a rule, it refers to a rather light, non-alcoholic wine that is characterised by harmony, precision and a certain complexity. Related terms are elegant, fine and slender.
