The white grape variety originates from Spain. Synonyms are Cirial, Gordal, Gordala, Gordera, Gordera Manehega, Jaén Colorado, Malaguena and Rompetinajas. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2018, it originates from a presumably natural cross between Hebén x unknown partner. Nothing is known about possible genetic relationships with the two white varieties Ahmeur Bou Ahmeur and Cornichon Blanc (both with synonym Corazon de Cabrito) and the red variety Quiebratinajas Tinto (with synonym Corazon de Cabrito Tinto). The variety is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
