The winery is located in the municipality of Pünderich (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region of Mosel. The head office is in a half-timbered house built in 1663 directly on the banks of the Moselle, while the cellar, built in the 1970s, is further up the hill. The business has been run by Rita and Clemens Busch since 1986. The vineyards cover 17 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Marienburg (in the parcels Fahrlay, Fahrlay-Terrassen, Falkenlay, Felsterrasse, Raffes and Rothenpfad) and Nonnengarten (Pünderich). They are 99% planted with Riesling, as well as a small amount of Pinot Noir. Biodynamic viticulture is implemented according to the respekt-BIODYN guidelines. Particular attention is paid to plant strengthening, which is achieved primarily through cover crop between the rows of vines, as well as fertilisation through the use of exclusively natural nitrogen, clay minerals and plant extracts.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
