The white grape variety comes from France. Synonyms are Asperion Rose, Badacsony 48, Gros Gris and Pintes. It is a somatic mutation of the red variety Béquignol Noir. It is grown in small quantities in Hungary in the Badacsony and Zala areas. In 2016, 2.2 hectares of vineyards were designated under the name Pintes (Kym Anderson).
