The white grape variety is a new cross between Tamîioasa (Muscat Blanc) x IP 165 (Maria Pirovano). The cross was made in Romania at the Pietroasa Research and Vine Breeding Station in Sofia. It is used as a wine grape variety and table grape. In 2016, 24 hectares of vines were identified in Romania (Kym Anderson statistics).
