Producer description of "Weingut Juliana Wieder"

The winery is located in the municipality of in the Austrian DAC area of . Attached is the Buschenschank "Georgischenke". The winery is managed by Georg Wieder. The vineyards cover 30 hectares in the Bodigraben, and Spiegelberg vineyards. They are 95% planted with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch (60%), Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, and 5% with the white wine varieties Welschriesling and Chardonnay. Natural, environmentally friendly viticulture is consistently practised. The quality criteria in the vineyard are the care of old vines, , extreme yield restriction by means of , meticulous leaf wall design and healthy, fully ripe grape material through an optimal harvest date.
