The vineyard is located in the municipality of Deutschkreutz in the Austrian DAC area of Central Burgenland. Like the Goldberg vineyard, it is part of the "Biiri" old wine mountains. The southwest-facing vineyards are situated at an altitude of about 200 metres above sea level. The upper and lower slopes are dominated by medium-heavy loam soils with a high clay content. Directly on the hillside there is a sandy loam with a high proportion of lime. Here mainly Blaufränkisch cultivated. The slope is exposed to intensive exposure (sunlight). The Bayer Heribert, Igler Hans, Igler Josef, Tesch Josef, Wieder Juliana and Winzerkeller Neckenmarkt wineries, for example, have shares in the reed.
