The winery is located in the municipality of Rödelsee (Steigerwald area) in the German wine-growing region of . It was founded in 2007 with three rows of vines, from which the name is derived. The is run by Christian Ehrlich and Alexandra Müller-Ehrlich on a part-time basis. The owners' self-definition of the genesis is "1 thought, 2 lateral thinkers and 3 rows". The vineyards cover 1.2 hectares in the single vineyard (Rödelsee). They are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Bacchus, as well as the red wine variety Pinot Noir. close to nature is practised; since 2012 according to the guidelines of (certified by ABCERT).
