Tokaj

Protected geographical indication (PDO, until 2013 Tokaj-Hegyalja) for the area in the north-east of Hungary on the border of Slovakia and Ukraine, which is named after the town of Tokaj. The superior wine-growing region is called Tokaji. Among other things, the famous sweet wine is produced here. See also Tokaj.
