Roxo Rei

The white grape variety with reddish berries originates from Portugal. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2020, it originates from a presumably natural cross between Marufo x Alvarelhão. It is grown in small quantities in the Centro and Norte regions. In 2016, 0.7 hectares of vineyards were designated (Kym Anderson statistics).
