Roxo Rei

This white grape variety with reddish berries comes from Portugal. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2020, it comes from a presumably natural cross between Marufo x Alvarelhão. It is grown in small quantities in the Centro and Norte regions. In 2016, 0.7 hectares of vines were reported (Kym Anderson statistics).
