Oinopion

According to Greek mythology one of the sons of the wine god Dionysus and Ariadne. The name (lat. Oenopion) means "wine face" or "wine coloured" or also "wine drinker". He was king of Chios and is said to have founded the viticulture on this Aegean island. In ancient times it was considered the "Bordeaux of Greek wines". One of his brothers was Staphylus (grape).
