The white grape variety is a new variety between Damaskaya Roza (Chaouch Rose) x Zhemschug Saba (Csaba Gyöngye). Synonyms are Muscat Jemiujnii, Muscat Zhemchyuzhnyi, Muskat Dzemchudznyi, Muskat Zhemchuzhnii and Muskat Zhemchuzhnyj. The cross was made in 1962 in the Ukraine by the breeder E. N. Dokuchaeva. The berries have a muscat tone. In 2016, 1.5 hectares of vineyards were designated in Ukraine (Kym Anderson statistics).
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
