Grey Portugieser

The white grape variety originates from Austria. Synonyms are Grauer Vöslauer, Oporto Szuerke, Portrugalske Sede, Rane Sede, Sedak, Sedy Portugal and Weißer Vöslauer. It is probably a variety with a reddish berry colour of the red Blauer Portugieser variety. In the early 1920s, Dr. Fritz Zweigelt (1888-1964) studied this variety and used it in the Jubiläumsrebe. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
