In this Wine lexicon numerous famous wine lovers are mentioned with their drinking habits and preferred alcoholic beverages. The first part covers those persons for whom there is also a special keyword. Of course, these are not comprehensive biographies, but the focus is on everything that is related to wine, viticulture and wine enjoyment in a narrower sense. For the personalities in the second part, there is no separate keyword, but the wines and wine-growing regions are mentioned. The indication of favourite drinks is not to be understood absolutely, however, because other brands were certainly also appreciated. In the case of the specified spirits, it is at any rate demonstrably known that they were enjoyed by the personalities concerned or at least were in their possession.
