The Riede is located in the municipality of Stammersdorf in the 21st district of Floridsdorf in the south of Wien (Austria). It belongs to the Großlage Bisamberg-Wien. The vineyard was classified by the Winzervereinigung WienWein as 1 ÖTW (Erste Lage of the Traditional Wine Estates of Austria). The southeast-facing vineyards with slopes ranging from 0 to 12 degrees are situated at an altitude of 240 to 328 metres above sea level and cover 12 hectares of vineyards. Various varieties are grown here as Viennese Gemischter Satz. Shares in the vineyard are held, for example, by the Cobenzl, Nössing Manuel and Schwarzböck wineries.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
