The winery is located in the municipality of Hagenbrunn on the city limits of Wien in the south-east of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. The fifth generation of the family is already involved in winegrowing. After years of practice in the wineries Knoll Emmerich (Wachau) and Wirsching Hans (Iphofen in Franconia), it has been run by Rudolf Schwarzböck jun. since 2003. Before her marriage, his wife Anita was Lower Austrian and Austrian Wine Queen from 1999 to 2001. With structural extensions, operations were started at the new location in the Hauptstraße.

The winery is located at the interface of the wine-growing regions of Lower Austria and Wien. The vineyards cover 23 hectares of vineyards in the winegrowing region Wien the vineyards Kirchberg and Falkenberg (Stammersdorf), as well as in the winegrowing region Weinviertel in the vineyards Aichleiten (Herzstück), Sätzen, Tagner and Pöcken (Hagenbrunn), as well as on the Bisamberg. The vineyards are 75% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gelber Muskateller (Muscat Blanc), Chardonnay, Welschriesling and Weißburgunder, and 25% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blauburger and Blauer Portugieser. The vineyards are cultivated in a sustainable, natural way without the use of chemical fertilisers.
